International VoIP Calls
While thousands of businesses appreciate the business features they get through VoIP, one of the biggest reasons anyone will buy this way is because they like the savings. Calls within the organization will usually not cost you anything, which means your employees can speak for as long as necessary. All of the international calling with VoipStudio works on a “pay as you go” basis. You can get 2000 minutes bundles for each user with free outbound phone calls, but it depends on the country. When you use this service, you will pay $39.99 for each user per month. With these services, you also get 99.999999 percent uptime, which goes to show the level of dedication the company has to their customers.
VoipStudio is a product rich with features, and they allow for major calling and communications. You also get some of the best communication management features to cover you in the ways you need. Whenever you dial out with the hardware phone, you will see a web call window from the “My Account” page. This uses the desktop app, and you can dial either the UK or the US.
You don’t have to change the number or your caller ID to do this. You will also enjoy the click-to-call functionality of the phone, and VoipStudio lets you take advantage of toll-free numbers to the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. You also have an emergency 911 service for the United States and the United Kingdom. The chief focus with this platform becomes a global one, and you can customize and configure the phone settings to decide how you will route and answer the calls.
The purpose of this calling platform is to enable you to call any of the other countries. The biggest shortcoming of this will probably be the lack of conferencing and video calling. Unfortunately, the lack of built-in features like what you might get with Jive or Microsoft Skype means that it doesn’t work as well. Auto-attendant is usually the contact a customer gets with the company. Most customers hate to leave messages on the machine, and they expect the customer sales representatives to give them personalized attention. Especially new customers that you haven’t quite reeled in yet, auto-attendant serves these customers, and you don’t have to worry about paying for the extra expense of a full-time receptionist.
VoipStudio Pricing – Is it Worth the Money?
When it comes to the pricing of VoipStudio, it all starts at the low price of just $4.99 for each user per month. You might call this the pay-as-you-go plan. Luckily, the main VoIP feature of this product will stay fairly consistent throughout the various tiers and the pricing plans. The main differentiation comes from the calling minutes you have been given. You can also choose the $19.99-per-user national plan, which also has a pay-as-you-go feature. Finally, you can choose to go with the $39.99-per-user plan, which will also give you 2,000 minutes of outbound calling. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be much variation among the choices. The biggest plan has been purpose more toward the business users. Anyone who has a regular demand for calling their partners and customers on a global scale.
In terms of customer service, you have solid and responsive customer service that will guide you through any questions or problems you might have with VoipStudio. The company strives to deliver top-notch services, but when the product does go wrong, you can connect from anywhere. The user-friendly nature of this application means that you most likely won’t need customer service. If you have any questions, the company offers 24/7 technical support. The support for your business will be invaluable. Any calls you make to another VoipStudio number will be free.
This is one of the reviews that look on VoipStudio with some favor. You have outstanding services to meet the international calling needs. In addition, the desktop interface, while it looks a little outdated, does have a practical function. IT managers can customize the features as needed, they can look at the layout and the permissions on a granular level. It, unfortunately, fell short of the Editors’ Choice award from PC Magazine, but it still has plenty of valuable features like video conferencing, which you don’t want to ignore. All in all, it’s worth checking out for the low cost.
No contract. No need for expensive telephone equipment. Practically instant instalment with no fuss or stress. Scales as our business grows - can add more users and caller IDs etc. What more could you want from a VoIP service!
We basically chose VoIP Studio because it had a great list of features and it looked like the best choice to connect our remote offices with our main branch. Our remote guys can now call in to the office and basically function as if they were sat with us in the same room - we can divert calls to them, leave them voicemails and pickup their calls too - such a great set of features. Additionally, we also liked the fact that we could port our numbers from our old provider and manage them easily using the web portal control panel.
Our small business deals exclusively with national calls and customers therefore we stuck with the national plan at just £9.99 per month. I guess if we did expand our business worldwide in the future then we could consider the international package, but for now there is no need. We like how there is no minimum term contract either - we don't envision swapping VoIP provider anytime soon, but it is nice to know that we could if we wanted. The web admin portal is also a big plus for us - its easy to access and the actual administration process could not be simpler.
As a large family, we have actually turned to a VoIP solution for our home and we chose VoIP Home through VoIP Studio. We like to stay in touch with each other and we travel a lot too so a VoIP system just felt like a logical choice. The price plan is simple and the call costs are reasonable too. We've each got our own virtual phone number too and the voicemail feature is more than adequate. Forget about a traditional telephone line - this is the way forward!
We were amazed at the sheer number of different features that VoIP Studio offers - we looked at other providers and they all appeared to fall terribly short in comparison. Where do we start? Call waiting, voicemail, ring groups, extension dialling, interactive voice response, reception console, conference calls, hold music, call transfer and both desktop and mobile clients to boot. Wow! The actual speed and quality of the calls is certainly more than acceptable too - the calls are clear, and there is no discernable lag at all. We are extremely happy with our choice and as you can guess are pleased we went with VoIP Studio - would recommend to anyone!
Some of the features that VoIP Studio provides might seem trivial but they are really useful and great time savers. One of my favourite features is the click to call function - I can literally scroll through my contact list, click on their name, and a call will be established! The call pickup and extension dialling features are also handy - our admin team for example can answer any inbound call regardless of which phone its ringing through. The unique extensions are also handy for call transfers and for internal calls - I can literally type 4 numbers in and dial someone in sales in a second - simple! For us, this is what VoIP should be all about and VoIP Studio delivers.
Our sales force and external reps are immensely busy - they can't always check their phones and take calls. To this end, the VoIP Studio speech to text feature is awesome. Our staff can check their phones when possible and check out a text transcribe of the answer message - I haven't seen any other VoIP provider who has this feature. We also like the "call barging" feature - basically our managers can jump into a call if they wish to take control and handle a situation. Finally, I personally like the fact that there is no mailbox size limit and no storage restrictions - it just means we don't have to worry about having the time to clear our inboxes and delete all the old messages (I'll do it eventually!)
