Simple question really – I want to know what methods of contact there are for Jive VoIP. I would prefer to use a live chat option if possible as I have always used this method of communication if I can. Does Jive VoIP have a live chat on their website? If so, what is the chat experience like?
Yes there is a live chat although it is only available for certain aspects of their business. If you click on the chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of the website a popup box will appear. To use the live chat you must click on the sales option, not partner or support. Once you open the sales box you can enter some basic details such as name, email and phone number and the live chat will be established – we found this a great way to get in touch with someone at Jive directly about their service.
The live chat is certainly a fantastic form of communication! 🙂 I just wanted to point out that the other two options are different – if you click on the chat icon and then the support or partner button, you will not be taken to a live chat. Instead, you will have to fill out some details and a contact form and then a Jive representative will respond via email. So in short, live chat is only available for sales enquiries.
I have used the live chat a couple of times just to get some basic help and sales info and I found the service to be fantastic. I could tell that it was a real person responding and not just an automated or AI chatbot. I got the help and information I required so don’t have anything negative to say about the service at all!
There is actually a note at the bottom of the live chat that states if you need immediate assistance then you should call their support team on 877-548-3007 – so I guess that the live chat is a safe option, but maybe the actual phone line may be the better option to choose even if you prefer to type than speak?
