We don’t have a great deal of IT expertise so the Nextiva business phone service was just what we wanted. I didn’t understand some of the terminology used but the installation process was faultless and the service was up and running in no time. Despite our lack of IT knowledge, we can work the phone system and messaging service without any problems and its comforting to know that there is a support team if we need them!

We trialled the VoIP service from Nextiva and we have since moved to another provider. I don’t think the service was inherently bad, but we just thought that the provider we have switched too had slightly more to offer – I can see the merits of Nextiva but it wasn’t suitable for us.

Our business has a decent sized call center and we wanted a simple solution that we could use to effectively route calls to the correct member of staff – Nextiva does this and more so we couldn’t have asked for a better VoIP service really! The activity reports are useful to and help with our business projections etc.

For me what made Nextiva a viable choice was the different communication methods available – we don’t always need to use a phone call so the instant messaging service and group chats are perfect. We’ve set up several group chats and our employees use them as and when they need and can catch up with the message history when appropriate. On the flip side, we have also made use of the video call function which has helped us with meetings and when we need to talk about product ideas and designs.

I don’t think Nextiva is fantastic – it provides an OK service but nothing spectacular. We considered using the platform but we couldn’t see anything amazing that stood out and made us want to choose it over a competitor. I’m sure it is a quality service and I have heard that their customer service is second to none but we wanted something more.
